Tests
View your test results using your NHS App or account
You can view test results that have been shared with your GP surgery using the NHS App, your NHS account or other online services and apps. You can view test results in your GP health record using the NHS App or by logging into your account on the NHS website.
Test results from your GP surgery will be available once they have been reviewed by the GP.
Phlebotomy
If you require a blood test the surgery offers a daily phlebotomy service. Please contact the surgery if you wish to make an appointment. If you find it easier to go to the hospital for a blood test then Kent and Canterbury offer a phlebotomy service on week days.
Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
When you take your test you will be told how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice.
It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if you're are advised to do so.
Please also note that you must bring in any requested samples to the surgery by 2.15 p.m.
24 Hour Blood Pressure Monitoring
We offer 24 Hour Blood Pressure Monitoring appointments with our HCAs throughout the week. These appointments are bookable by GP referral request.
Electrocardiogram (ECG)
An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a simple test that can be used to check your heart's rhythm and electrical activity. We offer these appointments daily and they are bookable by GP request only.
Doppler
A Doppler is a test that uses sound waves to measure the amount of blood flow through your arteries and veins, usually those that supply blood to your arm and legs. Our nursing team offer weekly doppler appointments for those patients who require this sort of test.
