Advanced Nurse Practitioners

Our Nurse Practitioners have completed additional training to be able to diagnose, treat and manage illness and disease.

Nurses

Our Practice Nurses can perform a number of procedures from Ramipril checks, Ear syringing, travel vaccinations/advice, Childhood vaccinations, Zoladex injections, Pill & HRT checks, Contraceptive injections, Cervical smears to Dopplers.

Our Practice Nurses also run dedicated clinics for post-operation/ulcer dressings, anti-coagulation services (e.g. Warfarin testing), Asthma, COPD and diabetes. They also run a weekly Baby Clinic.

Healthcare Assistants 

Our Healthcare assistants support the practice nurses with their day-to-day clinics and carry out numerous tasks such as phlebotomy/blood tests, blood pressure checks, height/weight/BMI monitoring, urinalysis, ECG, diabetic foot checks, wound swabs, flu/pneumonia vaccinations, vitamin B12 injections and NHS Health Checks.

HCAs also assist our Doctors with their Minor Surgery and Coil/Implant clinics which are held throughout the week.

They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
