We are happy to introduce a new peer support group that is being run by Health Champions (Volunteers that work with us here at Newton Place Surgery) starting on Friday 26th May at The Alexander Centre, 11am-12:30pm.

This new peer support group is for anyone aged 70 and over (family and friends are welcome along to this group) The Health Champions (volunteers that work with Newton Place Surgery) will be running this. The purpose of this group is to connect with other people, share memories and experiences. A new theme/topic will be discussed every week. The Health Champion who is running this group will be transcribing your memories, you can also get them written on nice paper so you can pass it down to family members, friends or to keep.
