Parent/Carer Support and Friendship Group

The Parent/Carer Support & Friendship Group is run by Health Champions (Volunteers that work with us here at Newton Place Surgery, who have all been DBS checked) is on every Friday from 1-3pm at The Alexander Centre.

If you have a young child or care for a young child, please go along! It is a great way to meet new people, build friendships and share stories. It is free to attend, family and friends are welcome to join you. There will be hot drinks, biscuits and toys! If you can, we encourage you to bring your own reusable cup to use at the group.

The Alexander Centre, Faversham

This beautiful building in the center of Faversham offers all kinds of activities and events for all age groups. They hold weekly sessions like Zumba, Pilates, Baby and Toddler Group, to music events, boxing and roller skating.

They offer excellent facilities and a wide variety of events. They have a soft play, fitness opportunities, events, a lunch club and more.

Health Visiting Service

The health visiting service supports families with a new baby or child under 5 years old, by offering advice and guidance.

The website has lots of information and links to other support such as; Child health clinics, breastfeeding, understanding your child online courses, workshops, apps and more.

Providing groups and services for families in the local area.

Their aim is to offer information, advice and support to parents, early learning, health services and family support.

All of their activities and courses are free of charge. They hold groups such as; baby yoga, messy play, baby massage and many more (Some groups may require booking)
