Car Park

We are once again experiencing misuse of our car park by individuals who are not eligible to park there.
The car park is reserved exclusively for patients with disabilities and/or mobility issues, as well as staff who undertake home visits or live out of the area. For everyone else, alternative parking is available at the Institute Car Park (near the Library) and the Central Car Park (by the Swimming Pool).
The pick-up and drop-off spaces are strictly for dropping off patients for their appointments or collecting them afterward. These spaces are not intended for waiting in your car while patients attend their appointments. Please be aware that you may receive a Parking Charge Notice if you misuse these spaces.
If car park misuse continues, we may be required to issue parking tickets directly. We ask for your understanding as we manage the car park to ensure our disabled and very unwell patients can park when visiting, and to allow our home-visiting clinicians to park when returning from their rounds.
Please note: If you receive a Parking Charge Notice, Newton Place Surgery cannot intervene in the appeals process. Appeal details will be included with the charge notice. The practice does not profit from parking charges; our sole aim is to prioritise parking access for patients who genuinely need it.
