img_367_bAt Newton Place Surgery the doctors and nurses take pride in offering the highest standard of patient healthcare.

We run many clinics for chronic disease care and offer a wide variety of other medical services such as antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations, physiotherapy, osteopathy and an anti-coagulant clinic.

In addition to everything you need to know about the practice you will also find a wealth of health-related information in the menu on the right hand side.

Online Appointment & Prescription Service

We are happy to advise that our new and improved Online Services are now available. This service is known as Patient Access, and enables you to do the following:

- Update your Personal Details

- Book and cancel GP Appointments

- Request Repeat Prescriptions

- View parts of your Medical Record:

                             - Current Medication: both Acute and Repeat

                             - Useful information about your Medication

                             - Allergies

                             - Useful information about your Allergies

This is a 24hr service that you can use in your own time, day or night.  It is easy to use, simply follow the prompts and screens online. However, please note that before you can start using Patient Access you must register your details for this service.  Registration forms are available either from reception or from the link here.

Patient Access is also available as an app to use on Android and IOS phones. We hope you find this service useful.

 


 

TEXT Service to cancel appointments

If you are unable to attend your appointment and need to cancel, you can TEXT us and we can cancel the appointment for you. Simply text your message to 07716 309 164 with your name, date of birth and the date and time of the appointment you would like to cancel and we will do the rest!

*Please note this telephone number does NOT accept calls ONLY text messages.*

PLEASE NOTE - Although these email accounts are monitored on a regular basis, they are NOT manned 24 hours of the day. We advise that if you have a query regarding a medical matter, please telephone reception on 01795 530 777 to make an appointment to see the appropriate medical practitioner.
