Travel Clinic

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with a travel clinic.  It is important to make your appointment as early as possible  - at least 6 weeks before you travel. 

Newton Place Surgery offers the following travel vaccinations free of charge but a travel brief should be obtained from the links below prior to the appointment.

  • Hepatitis A
  • Typhoid
  • Tetanus, Diphtheria and Polio
  • Cholera

You can obtain a travel brief by clicking the links below depending on the area you are travelling to.

Patients will have to attend a travel clinic for advice and administration of the following vaccinations:

  • Yellow Fever
  • Japanese B Encephalitis
  • Tick Borne Encephalitis
  • Rabies
  • Hepatitis B
  • Meningitis ACWY

There is a charge for these vaccinations.

Prescriptions for Maleria tablets can be requested from your GP by contacting reception. Please ensure you know the name of the Maleria tablets you require before requesting.
